| Deerfur Waterseeker
He was startled awake by Wildberry pouncing on him. The tribe had gone to the dreamberry patch and he just happened to be there. So began Deerfur's life at Sun Goes Down Holt. Deerfur is a medium height elf with brown hair, brown eyes, and a wide smile. More a hunter than a warrior, he prefers the bow and arrow to any stabbing weapon. When he arrived at Sun Goes Down, he rode on a blackneck, but it was killed on a hunting trip. Now he rides Treetop, a strange plains creature somewhere between a giraffe and a goat, but hardier, with long, shaggy fur. He is recognized in a three-mating with Xaryan and Dawn. He currently resides in a small cottage in Maine, surrounded by friends and family, and seldom makes public appearances, except for the occasional benefit concert.

Deerfur Waterseeker was born on the plains, son of Wind
and Eldeph, both Plainsrunners. He left the home of his parents in search
of the High Ones' other descendants. Traveling long moons on the endless
Plainswaste, he tied his animal by the forest's edge and settled down to
rest in a patch of odd, purple berries.
