Older brother of Quicktongue

Spear is an elder, riding Greybeard. Once, his wolf had a nice vibrant name, but the old fellow is old, and his muzzle is grey. He knows that, soon enough, he'll lose him. But he's also used to it. Still, he's saddened at the thought of losing a good wolf.

He also answers to Greybeard himself, sometimes. His hair has many shades of grey, some dark, some light. He's just over 500, and proudly wears his face fur in a fork style. While the hair on his head is kept very short, mostly because he got tired of messing with it.

Spear is patient. A good hunter because of it, as well as his determination. He's taken Leaf under his wing, understanding her need to be viewed as something more than a short elf. They make a good hunting team, though he, too denies any deeper involvement.

His teaching style grated on Maker, who was unable to learn his way. They seem to have come to an agreement. At least, he's been seen leaving her den as dusk approaches.

His pride is his spear, or rather, spears. He's made several, and they are very well made. He claims to have broken only one, and that was only because he lost his temper.
